I really liked Carelia's black and white outfit, featured in yesterday's Blog and presented by Inge, and was inspired to try it. I had everything but the white boots in my wardrobe but I thought I would try it with my sneakers. I also tried my black crops and new sandals with the blazer and printed top but I think the white jeans work best. Thanks to Inge and Carelia, I have a new outfit.

You wear black and white really well! I noticed that on another outfit you posted recently, though not sure if I commented. While the 2d outfit is fine, I agree that the jacket with the white jeans is perfectio. The unexpected choice of sneakers really makes it fresh and interesting.

Joy: Thank you. The necklace is my favorite and is also a souvenir from our trip to Italy two years ago.

Ledonna N: Thanks. I ordered 7 pairs of black sandals and immediately sent back five pair. Today, I finally decided to keep these and return the other pair that I liked. Sometimes it's hard to choose.

I think both work, Bonnie, but the first look with the white jeans feels extra fresh and fab. Love the white sneaks, that beautiful top and your necklace here. And as I mentioned earlier this week: you have an enviable collection of fab toppers!

These are both great! I do especially like the white jeans and white sneakers though. I'm going to try this. I recently bought a pair of white sneakers but haven't decided whether I'm keeping them or not. I need to try some outfits with them and haven't had time. I'm going to make sure I try them with my white jeans now.

I have stayed away from black and white for many years because I thought it would not be flattering. I saw that Carelia probably has a short waist, too, and she looked great - so I gave it a try.
Inge: Thank you. I love toppers. My winter formula consists of jeans, a layering top, and topper.
