Well, I'll just call it an early birthday present to myself. On top of the blue leather IRO jacket and my DC meetup purchases, I may need to SYC for a little while!
At least this is one of the relatively inexpensive Philip Stein watches (no diamonds). The store gave me a good discount since we've bought a couple of nice pieces there. I love the colors in the mother of pearl face (tried to show them a bit in the second pic), the scalloped center, and the bolder, casual vibe of this as an alternative to my slightly dressier one. It uses the same size band, so my band collection does double duty for both of my watches!
It is a substantial size on my skinny little wrist, but I think it works well on me because it stands up well to my bold rings and statement necklaces.
