Just making sure you all know this important news...:) In red, online and without trying it on but hopefully it will fit well as it looks great on Kari and we have somewhat similar body types.

Actually, it's not the same coat as Kari ordered (and hers was lovely), but it had a similar cut. It was this one:

I liked the color, and figured...well, gotta have one nice coat! It was, as I said, a good deal.

I hear you, JennyAnne. I felt like I was one of these cliche women in cartoons, the ones whose arms are stuffed with shopping bags whilst they continue shopping (except it's cyberland, so that doesn't have to happen anymore).

Yay! I tried that one on in the store and loved the shape of it. It's also very soft. Here's hoping you got the extra 50% off as per the code Claudia mentioned - that would make it a pretty good deal.

I think those Talbot's coats are just so classic and beautiful. I hope they turn out to be great coats for you all.

I REALLY wanted both the red and the teal tweed coats too, but had other needs that took up budget dollars this season. I was so tempted, I had both in my cart all day yesterday. I am hoping that next year Talbots will have these same coats again because I am definitely planning to budget for one next year.

I can't wait to see these on you if you post pics. Kari looked amazing in that teal tweed version. Sigh.
