Have you seen some of the Vera Bradley silk scarves from a couple of years ago ? They stopped making them because they didn't sell well, but I have 5. The colors are beyond beautiful and a super saturated in color :

Ticksgirl and Debora ... You need to know that you've just opened a whole new horizon for me re scarves. I am beyond inspired to start wearing the delicate silk ones, using the techniques Maitai demonstrates. Seriously - I've bookmarked the site and am on a whole new track for neckwear.

Deb, you are too funny! I actually don't have any silk scarves, but have been contemplating them ever since a friend brought this site to my attention. Those prices, though! They give me heart palpitations! I ran across this post about Hermes- inspired scarves awhile back on another blog and thought it was interesting. Perhaps a way to get the look without spending the big bucks. Food for thought...

Just wanted to say thanks for the link! I have a bunch of vintage silk scarves that I rarely wear, and would like to. Those knots are so interesting, I'm definitely going to give some a try! And I think I need to pick up some scarf rings, those look super handy.
