I need some new stores!

I have local access to all the usual national stores...AT, WHBM, JC, BR, Anthro, Loft, a Nordstrom that is usually disappointing...all of the well known places.

And I know to browse through Zara, Club Monaco, Nordstrom, EF and a few others online. And sometimes Bluefly and ShopBop.

But I'm just not finding things I care about and I wonder if I'm missing some online resource that would be more interesting. Alaskagirl just mentioned one I'd never heard of...Yoox??? Think that may be wrong. Anyway, what are some of your less traveled shopping favorites?

Yoox is online only and you need to leave a trail of bread crumbs or you will get lost never to return. Things go fast and there's an incredible range. IronKurtin can give you search tips that will narrow down less than 42 pages of results. I just stumble around madly - this is how I ended up with the elephant shirt.

Also may I introduce you to the evil addiction that is Allsaints?

Not that I will be of any help, considering I have access to fewer options than you've already mentioned, but it might help people who actually know what they are talking about!

House of Fraser and Dorothy Perkins, both UK based. Free to cheap shipping. So fun to have something different!

Wow, fun browsing ahead...tomorrow. I'm too sleepy tonight. But thank you for all the suggestions...and yes, I didn't know most of them.

What am I looking for? I'd say mostly tops for spring and summer...hot weather. Also probably pants. Well, I tossed 4/5 of my closet last Fall so there is much need actually. Things that fit my newly defined Easy, Artistic, Colorful, Soft style descriptors!

But...price point not as high as some probably! Items in the up to $200 range, not much higher.

Well I'm glad to see there are other UK people on here! In addition to Dorothy Perkins and House of Fraser, there is MIssguided, and Spartoo, who often has crazy private sales on shoes, with free UK (or European) delivery.

My favourite place to shop in the US is always Ross or TJMaxx or Spiegal...remember Spiegal?

If retail is leaving you uninspired, what about trying secondhand? My favorite consignment shop has just gone online: http://shop.greenestreet.com/ Very rapid turnover that way, unlike retail.
