It only took two years for you all to convince me to upgrade my lounge wear. I finally caved in for these sweatpants.. I bought two pairs of the fleece sweats (white/gray snowflake and a dark gray) and a pair of the waffleknit (blue with a fair isle snowflake pattern). I don't think I've ever worn something cozier. I want to spend the rest of the winter in them.
Seriously great, huh? I have several colors of the ON sweatpants. I could totally live in them. Hate to feed the fire, but have you tried the ON half zip fleece? Holy cow! Ridiculously cozy. Last year they were on sale the day before or after Christmas for $5 in store. This year, I'll be getting every color they have (since I don't start counting items purchased til Jan 1!
Ooh - these sweatpants are currently on sale in my local store for $4 (but I'm still glad I paid the $6 online, because I got the tall size which they don't have in the store). I'll make it a point to visit the store again next week to see if they have the fleece tops on sale. I have one fleece hoodie and wear it all the time - another wouldn't hurt
That's so funny, Amy! Reading your title and your post, I couldn't help thinking how right about now I feel like I just want to hibernate until the sun comes back out. (And it was sunny here, today, but for just too short a time, I guess.)
I've got a pair of the ON flannel pants in tall wending their way to me - hoping they're as great as yours, because I've got a pair of pj pants that have shrunk to floods. Not a big deal in bed but when lounging around my ankles get cold, even with socks!
Exactly Laura! I can't stand cold ankles. The fleece pants are gloriously long - I could shorten them up to 3" or so. I'll probably thread some elastic through the hems so that I'm not walking on them all the time - but I love that they cover my heels. I didn't try the flannel ones, though they looked pretty - I wanted the extra warmth of the fleece.
