without buying anything. A friend and I took her 13 year old shopping for boots and clothes. We spent the entire day at the mall, including Nordstrom, BR, and Gap... all tempting places to be. She ended up with these Docs, which I had to model for her because she wanted to see how they looked with skinnes. It was a close call but I held out. These boots are ADORABLE.

I made it a point to wear an outfit that was difficult to change in and out of, as well as my OTK boots which do not come on and off easily. That helped me resist temptation. I'm also keeping a list of things I may want later on, and these boots are on that list!

I also was able to get the 13 year old to take a bunch of clothes from my closet that I was wavering on.
