To Angie's post about department stores, I had commented that there is a Nordstrom one town over from me that I had never been to due to parking garage anxiety (not afraid of parking garages per se, just hadn't been to this one before, didn't know where the entrance was, etc.) I challenged myself to go this week so this morning I went.

The parking was as confusing as I'd feared, though I figured it out eventually and will know how it works next time.

The merchandise was nice enough, the store was clean and pleasant, and the staff was helpful, but the selection was very sparse, with racks placed far from each other. What racks there were did not contain many choices or size options.

It made me miss my old Nordstrom from the King of Prussia Mall outside Philadelphia.

I did learn how and where to pick up online orders, which is the most likely thing to take me back. :(. There's a Bloomingdales in the same shopping mall - "the Sonos Collection" - but I didn't go there.

Overall, disappointing but no longer intimidating so I'll count it as a win!
