Our climate is too warm and I think you'd hardly get a chance to wear it. If you already have a decent collection of warm winter sweaters (I'd say 3-5), that's plenty for the winters down here. It's been too warm until now to wear heavy sweaters. You'll probably only get to wear the sweater until the end of February, possibly the middle of March and then it'll be too warm. My friends got married April 3 last year, and I wore a strapless, knee-length bridesmaid dress with no cover up at all and I still got a bit sweaty standing around outside. April 3!!
Can you tell I'm not a fan of our climate? ; )
