I Love Olive (all of) my Neutrals

Here are some of my most recent olive finds. Some are olive with gray undertones, some have brown undertones.
1. Laundry raincoat. Besides the color, I love the pockets, the hood and the animal print lining. This is a dark olive IRL?
2. Leo and Nicole long vest. This is a soft flowing fabric in an olive brown.
3, 4,5 and 6.
3. Liverpool skinny jeans. Light olive, with a bit of yellow undertone.
4. Retro sweater in dark gray olive. I love the split hem detail.
5. Liverpool plaid skirt in olive and black. Zipper details are a nice
bonus.
6. Toms dark olive suede booties.
7 and 8.
7. 525 America zip cardi with cotton accent details. This is a dark olive.
8. Gibson hi-low top. The back has center pleats from a back yoke all the way to the hem. This olive has a bit of yellow undertone.

When choosing from the blacks, white and tan items in my wardrobe, I can create multiple outfits using olive as a neutral. The best score was the Laundry raincoat, which I found on discount.

I like these tones and textures. Don't have any olive in my wardrobe any more; I may have to reconsider if I can find a flattering shade.

These are great pieces. I like them all! I will single out the 525 American sweater, though--what a fun cardigan, and I really like the dark olive color.

Jenn, yes, with the fluctuating fall temperatures, I could be wearing any of these items in September.
Fashiontern, the skirt and cardi is a favorite combo of mine. I can't wait to add the booties!
Thank you Beth Ann and Karen. There are many shades of olive and finding the right shade is key for it to be a neautral on quite a few people. Luckily, I can wear all shades of olive. The olives with gray may not be the prettiest in the palate, it they look the best on me.
Firecracker, the 525 was a great find. It was in a window display. As I entered the store I was so hoping there would be one in my size.
Laura G, I predict we will see more and more people wearing shades of olive, as there seem to be many options available this year. Lucky us!
