I'm glad Nordstrom was so great about it, but I'm bummed those shoes didn't work out for you. I think I misunderstood earlier, I thought that they needed some breaking in, but that they would ease up enough to work for you. They did seem awfully stiff to me.

I thought no way would they take back a worn shoe, but I'm here already so can't hurt to ask. I was prepared to try and break them in. But I doubt they'd ever be comfortable.

YAyYYYYYYYYY ! I also LOVE Nordstrom. Whenever I need or want anything, they are the first place I check. I just feel so much more secure about taking a risk with them. Because there is always an innate risk in buying something, especially shoes.

I am SO much more willing to take a risk with Nordstroms, and i have had a heck of a time finding brands that work for me there. Of course, that's because the closest Nordstrom's to me is over 3 hours away, so hard to goin and just try on.

Still, score another one for Nordies!

I love Nordstrom too! I have always had phenomenal experiences with them. Wanna hear my all time favorite? I was refreshing my bra drawer and buying from my favorite sales person. One topic of conversation led to another and I told her how disappointed I was in a pair of tights that I bought (I kid you not) over a year earlier. They would not stay up, even though I had the right size. I had been so frustrated with them that I threw them away, even though they were relatively expensive. She gave me a credit back for them. SERIOUSLY! Just like that. Over a year earlier. No receipt. Only my word on it. No merchandise to take back. And she gave me a credit. Nordstrom earned my undying loyalty that day. The fact that their employee felt empowered to do that spoke volumes about the company.

K, that's amazing! I will remember that in the future. I had a similar experience with some hosiery and I just tossed it in the Goodwill bag and tried to forget I'd wasted $20.
