DH can be a A..H... when is about undersanding ...I love him and everything but why he can't undestand me when I'm trying to tell him how i feel being more than a month at home with a 2 year old!!!! and not going anywhere just only for important matters (lawyers etc) I don't have family in here and nobody visits me ...it's exhausting!!!!! I need air ...i need to go out at least with my lil toddler but going where i want to go! He think of me having a major tantrum (i'm 24 ) and making fun of me instead understanding me ...seriously men sucks!! In one way or other ... He usually is not like that but since he found out about my health situation...he acts like my dad rather than being comprehensive...!!! (i can't go cuz there is only one car and he is working) but still once in a while i can go out and pick him up when he is off work really !!!

Sorry to hear you're isolated with a little kid, siniestra, and I hear you about the spouses not listening. No advice. Just: it's very relatable. Hope the stressful situation gets better.

Ah that's tough. I know it's hard to be stuck inside with kids day in and day out. Is there anything local you can walk to? Like a library, park, coffee shop, mall? Get's you out for a bit and maybe make a friend or 2?

lol im in the country side !!! A car is a must in these area the nearest place i have walking is a gas station and it's 20 min from here but without side walk ! so is not very safe to a tot walking in a Highway :/

This is how I explained it to my b.f. I said to him: Have you ever noticed what *all* cowboy movies teach? They teach how a man has to hitch up the wagon and take the women folk visiting. Man drives his cattle to pasture. Man takes the women folk a' visiting.

Cowboy movies are all about men becoming men, and this is like one of the key steps. Lol.

Ok, so too far to walk.....Tell him you need the car and you will drive him to work and pick him up. It'll be work for you, but you'll also have some freedom.

Yes, you need to convince him to let you take him to work one day/week, or one day every other week. Take him in and pick him up.

You could then spend that day in town with your little one. Shopping, library (there might be a toddler story hour at a library to attend together (check local libraries for their schedules). Maybe visit a children's museum, a park with a fun playground (AND other young moms who need adult interaction!!)

If your little one naps, bring a stroller so he can nap somewhere pleasant for you -- a park with a book, a coffee shop, a movie, anything besides the same four walls of your house

Been there done that, thought it would NEVER end, but it does -- eventually. . .

Sit him down right away and tell him that you need to get out of the house at least one day each week and he is going to need to support you on this or you are going to be very unhappy! You could drive him to work as you suggested and have the car for the day. Other options... Is there rural transportation where you are? Many country areas have some sort of system. If not, is there someone you know who can give you and your toddler a ride into the city once a week? Can he drive you and your toddler into town and then pick YOU up at lunch or after work if he's not able/willing to leave you the car?

Not that I agree with him not agreeing for your benefit alone but would he be more amenable if you made out it was for your child's benefit? Children *need* to mix you know x

I echo what the others have said. It is important for both you and your child to get out. I am truly hoping that you can drive hubby to work a couple of times per week and enjoy the benefits.
