...like a laser beam. I need boots in a bad way. Seriously. And I'm planning on buying a few pairs this fall. But other things keep calling me! There are things I could wait for that I keep buying instead of the boots I desperately need now. Focus, woman, focus!

At least it is boots and not something like, oh say, underwear.

My friend's sister is a assistant manager/Team Lead at Victoria Secret and said they quit mailing out the free panty cards for awhile. She said HOURLY people came in and asked if they could get a free panty card as that was their only source of underwear for the past couple years and they were out of underwear and needed more. o.O Gah!

(And to clarify, these were often women with expensive bags and sunglasses and dressed nicely. They could have bought some underwear.)

Usually when I am searching for a specific item, THAT is when I find that extra-special, gotta-have-it article of clothing or fab accessory that may or may not be on my list.

Sometimes you hit the jackpot when shopping. And if I love it, I buy it.

Wise advice. If I had been so focused on boots that I refused to consider anything else, I would have missed out on two PERFECT sweater dresses that I will probably wear over and over.

But my next purchase really needs to be boots. LOL I'm going shopping Saturday!

Guilty, Dresslover! I recently realized I hadn't updated my undies *since my daughter was born.* My bras, yes. My old faithfuls, no. (I blame Tide with Bleach - they really did look and feel OK!) Needless to say there has been a major Under Overhaul since. Also, working out helped since they no longer fit - woo!

Funny side story: My husband, upon seeing Old Faithfuls in the trash, was like, "Why are you throwing these out?" Um... darling, I hate to break it to you, but your underwear gets thrown out too. You just don't notice because the Tighty Whitey Fairy mysteriously always comes and replaces them!

Mmmmmmm, yes me too! I was out shopping for clearance tops (HUGE wardrobe whole but something that is not *fun* for me to shop for) when two pairs of flats JUMPED into my arms and I found the most amazingly cut denim jacket and leopard scarf....just sayin'.

I agree with the others that say sometimes ya gotta jump on something that appears in your path. How often have I hunted and hunted for something that just wouldn't be found? I bought it all (...but may return the flats....stay tuned to this bat-channel)!
