I'm a little besotted with these;). No idea if they would work for me;). I would be inclined to have the chain removed. I think they could work with both pants and skirts/dresses?

Hope you don't mind me posting so many "what do you think" posts...I tend to online browse a lot at the beginning of the new season;)

Cute shoes -- they look like they swell out at the forefoot instead of going straight and then to the point. Have to try them on to see if that shape works for you.

Is the chain glued on do you think? Would it show marks if you took it off?

Yes I didn't notice that:). The chain is secured through a fabric loop either side so easy to remove:)

Those are very interesting, Deborah. I am so drawn to patterned leather - just bought some loafers with a snakeskin effect yesterday. As for the chain, I don't know. I think I would want you to try them "with" first. I'd have to see them styled to know if they were truly OTT. The chain might actually just read as more texture.
I think these are worth a try.
I have been posting A LOT of "what do you thinks" lately. I really hope they are not annoying -- you are right, it's natural at the start of a shopping season!

What struck me about these shoes is they are kind of a mix of a bootie and loafer in one.

Love them! (and I actually really like the chain. It's a simple yet somewhat bold decoration that could add a nice detail to what may otherwise be a very simple gray or black outfit --but then again, my style is OTT, unlike yours)

I'd be interested to see how these would fit and the comfort level - they are very cool looking Deb and I could see them working for you. I don't mind the chain detail actually.

As for posting, post as much as you like and need. The beginning of a season is when we need the most advice so no worries

I like them for their uniqueness with or without the chain and, like Shevia, it's the pattern that is wonderful and would go so well with many of your pieces, Deborah.

To anyone, post away, because the start of any season is when there's a flurry of activity. I just want to be like some of you who are so good at responding in a timely fashion.

I'm intrigued by them too -- I think they're very much worth trying! I can see these working really well for you. Not sure about the chain, but a try-on would help determine that.
