I just can't tell

I'm having the hardest time figuring out my shape! Pear? Hourglass? Apple? And right now I'm pregnant so its even harder. Can anyone help?

Hi cawfeehowse! That is a gorgeous pregnancy photo -- I love the purple blouse. How far along are you?

I'm not a body-type expert, but I'll give it a go. It's kind of hard to tell from the photos, but my first guess would be rectangle.

It's difficult to tell your shape with your arms raised above your head. Do you have a picture of you with your arms by your side? Also, do you wear the same size on top as on bottom, or different sizes?

It's hard to guess from the first photo but my advice for you is.. wait until you have the baby because our figure is always changing and your shape can change with the years.

To rute's point -- are you looking to find clothes to fit you during pregnancy? I also wouldn't spend a lot of money on a new wardrobe until after having the baby and losing the baby weight. But the ladies here can certainly help you find clothes that are appropriate during the transition period.

I was going to echo what rute said- pregnancy is not the best time to try and figure out your shape. Right now, you're a pregnant shape, and that's what you need to dress. Regardless of what you were pre-baby, your body will do some changing. It may change back to the same shape and it may not.

In that picture I am 27.5 weeks. Right now I'm 32! I'm muuuuuuch bigger.

It's all worth it for a healthy little girl (aka future shopping buddy).

I'm looking for clothes post-baby. Trying to be a fashionable mama. I guess I'll wait and see where things "lie" after the baby comes.
