I've eyed a pair of black Clarks pumps with snakeskin embossing for some time, but my size was nowhere to be found. I searched every brick and mortar store in my neighborhood, and I googled for them day after day on ebay, web shops and so on. Finally, Amazon.co.uk had a pair on offer from a seller in the UK. But then the oh so familiar restriction "this shop doesn't ship to Norway" turned up again when I tried to add the shoes to my Amazon basket. Not being a member of the union has certain disadvantages for a fashion lover! However, I then searched up the seller's own website, and at first it seemed hopeless, but finally the shoes became accessible to me after all. Now they are on their way across the North Sea in my direction already. Yay! They will look great with my red dress - and everything else, basically.
They look like this: http://www.clarks.co.uk/p/20352050 and they are so comfortable! I'm very pleased with this purchase. As a small bonus, the shop deducted the British VAT automatically, so I saved around $15 on them. Persistence and patience paid off, and I'm so happy that I didn't settle for a less satisfying solution.
