I Had gone to Sunday brunch and one of the friends remarked this.
She was referring to a party wear tunic dress in a flattering color that she had bought at a good price even after discount some 3 years ago. Till now she has worn it only to a nondescript place by using it as a top for skirt. Try however she may she just can't get her head around wearing it. When going through her clothes one day I did tell her that I've never seen her wearing this. And she said that she doesn't. It's unlined, asymmetrical, one full bell sleeve, other sleeveless, asymmetric hem sort of thing. I did tell her to give it away but she just can't justify the money spent on it. "All I did in trial room was defend and justify buying it" she says. And it's designer. Poorly made IMHO.
When I came home I went through and found few of my stuff that I wouldn't mind stolen. Some bad purchases, some gifts and some just not-the-me-now. So that I won't have to justify the purchase or feel the guilt over spending money over it.
How about stealing each other's... Anyone up for a ' strangers on a train' stealing deal?
