I waited 12 whole days after getting my first paycheck since January to make a clothing purchase, and then I jumped in with both feet to the Nordstrom clearance sale. Although I occasionally shopped Nordies when I lived in CA, I have *never* shopped there electronically; indeed I have mightily resisted falling prey to its call ... but today I gave in, and put in a large, expensive (for me) order. The free returns is what finally made me do it.
This is week 6 of my new job, and it's going ... OK. Actually it's boring. But the pay and benefits are good, the people are nice, and it's a far cry from my last office job which was pure torture. So I'm making the best of it. I'm still getting used to 8-5 again, and so have been largely MIA here on the forum. Still wearing clothes though - here's today's WIW, just to get get back on the horse. All of this is old, from my grad school days. Most of my grad school clothes work just fine for this position, although I did buy 4 pair of trousers since I mostly only had blue jeans.
