Aliona summed it up perfectly. There is nothing I could add to what she had to say.

I do want echo others that said they love it on you, but that they personally could not carry it off because it does not fit their style. The reason I loved it in the first place was because this piece literally shouted "AlaskaGirl." It was like it was made specifically for you. Pieces like that are quite rare. If something says my name I buy it instantly. No questions asked.

Then on top of that, you styled it so perfectly. Everything worked in this ensemble. It is perfection.

You used 3 exclamation points in the first 3 sentences. You like the piece very much. My question is...why do you need to be 'talked out of' keeping a garment you so obviously want to keep. You certainly don't need my permission to wear something so delightful. xoxo, Ruthe

I absolutely disagree about looking for something that "fits" better. The drama and length of this poncho are part of what contribute to the look - they don't detract from it at all. I think it fits you perfectly. Like others have said, depending on how it looks in motion, you may or may not want to narrow it, but it looks like perfection in your photos. LOVE.

HA! I'm going to use "three exclamation points" as my standard from now on, Ruthe!

Skulls are so you. And the colour is perfect with your hair. I didn't notice the size of the poncho. It is so right for you.

So many aspects of the poncho seem to be you. You asked to be talked off the cliff, sort of, so how about this question:

Is it fussy to wear? Or better, is it too fussy for you to wear? Do you put it on and feel wrapped in joy? Apparently yes: "oh how I love it!".

I like it on you, perhaps because of the compelling juxtaposition of skulls and cosy, combined with the color. Personally, I am getting lazy about managing lots of details in my garments and would likely feel I had a frisky puppy on me the whole time I had that amount of fringe on. And I know for others, the "puppy factor" would clinch the deal.

I'm hoping you keep it, in part because of how enthusiastic you are. Because everyone needs a little perk once in awhile as my mother used to say. Maybe substitute "wild card" for perk.

Girlfriend, this totally fits your style, you ROCK it, it's not too long but looks funky and cool just the way it is!

So I bit the bullet on this and wore it to work today, as people were dressing for Halloween. I got more compliments on it than anything else I've ever worn. And it is soft, warm, and amazingly manageable despite the fringe factor. I feel super-happy in it.

I don't know when I could get away with wearing it to work again, but the joy factor is OVER THE TOP. And I'm not sure why - it's the combination of luxury, edge, and comfort, maybe? I need to think it out more...

Joy says it all!

This is beyond fab on you.

And as far as I am concerned, a cashmere poncho in Alaska is almost as necessary as long underwear and boots. So there.

No, no, no, you must keep. It looks like a sitting out on the deck with a glass of wine poncho.

It's like the swashbuckling thing. Or medievally modern.

I think I need this for my church capsule............

Seriously, it's glamorous, cuddly and completely you. It doesn't overwhelm you at all, although I think you might need to wear it with a bit of heel, ideally. 2 inches should do it.

Incredibly awesome!! Glad you kept it. It's truly magnificent and so happy that you felt amazing wearing it!! But you are really such a bad influence on me!! You had to look fabulous. So I then enter paroxysms of poncho envy when I have firmly talked myself out of a poncho. I totally adore the skull poncho but light a gray is not my best color but the silhouette, drape, length and fringe wasa just amazing so I could not resist checking out 360 cashmere to assure myself that this poncho did not come in another color. Of course, there was a fab ombre gray/black but again pale gray and pale skin, not so good. but there it was the all black. Mysterious, velvety, soft cashmere singing it's siren song of warmth, elegance of the joy that only a portable cashmere blankie can confer. I honestly tried to resist. Plus the 31% discount was about to run out......so I did it. Ordered and on the way. Only hoping I look and feel half as stunning in mine as you do in yours!!

Of course you kept this. I think the skulls are all the more edgy with your grey hair. Memento mori at its most defiant.

Gryffin, please share what you've ordered! I am so glad this is a keep because I can't trust my own judgment sometimes. Thanks all (and sorry to bump) - just saw these last few responses).

Love that you kept this. I think the drape is what does it for me.

Love this on you. Surely a unique piece and you carry it so well. Looks like it was made for you.
