I had my handbag party and bought....3 bags!!!

I did get one for free for hosting the party, one is a birthday present from the BF so I really only bought one.

I got;
* Carrie in Tan which was Angie's choice as my bag for work. I was hesitant until I saw it in person. It is divine and not overwhelming for my frame at all. http://www.willowblu.com.au/ca.....c5d96e6637

* The Brooklyn in Jade. This was the one I was most hesitant about (my mother was very keen on me getting it) so I'd love some opinions

Wow, those are great! I couldn't pick a favorite if you made me choose at gunpoint!!

I love the Brooklyn! It looks beautifully practical with all that room and those pockets, and the color is divine!

They are all equally lovely. Personally I adore the Carrie and the green bag!

If you don't mind, I'd really love for you to bookmark this thread if you can and reply in a month or two how well they have held up with use. If they are robust I sure could be tempted!

(PS - Not long until Secret Santa now. I'm excited!!! :-))

I will do Katiepea. I saw the bags at the party and they seem beautifully made. All seams are double stitched and the leather was buttery soft.

All of them are beautiful. My favourites are the Carrie and the Brooklyn.I would buy bith of them without hesitation.

Wow! Those are beautiful bags. My favorite is the Carrie. I'd be interested to know from you and anyone who has one, how well a drawstring closure works in r/l. It seems fussy to me and something that would not wear well with constant use. Maybe the one I had decades ago was too cheap. I'd end up not closing it to avoid the drawstring and then have everything dump out.

Hi Joy,

the Brooklyn has a magnetic closure as well- I'm not great at doing up my bags and I'm sure I'd end up ignoring a draw string closure too.
