Almost 4 months later. Feels SOOOO good to be well groomed again!
I went in with Greg, and it was just us in the salon because my stylist rents a room and does one client at a time. She's also doing FAR fewer clients to minimize virus exposure. It was just us as clients that day. It was the perfect COVID-19 hair salon experience, in my mind. Masks were worn and precautions were taken. I felt safe and had a good experience.
After all that, I came home with a simple, practical, and no-nonsense haircut that works in Seattle's wind and rain - and with my specs and mask! Nothing edgy, sharp, hard, or extreme. I am very happy NOT to have a bob, a short stacked back, short sides, short fringe, or asymmetry.
The sides and back are longer and softer, and I'm growing the ends at the back to create a '70s soft, feathery, and wispy look. That's my next step. A girl has to have a hair project
I can blow-dry, air-dry or go wavy. In every rendition here - all styled by me - I leave my hair naturally soft and tousled. Nothing too strict or structured, which is a big shift for me and simply a sign of the times. I'm into stress-free hair styling at the moment, and this is one way to go.
I'm getting used to my new look!
Sam had his haircut and looks as dapper as ever. Goodbye woolly sheep! Look at those tiny little neat feet.....
