The black pencil skirt hunt is at an end. I have tried on what feels like hundreds today. The winning one came from M&S http://i594.photobucket.com/al.....rt/002.jpg It is a slight compromise i tried another M&S one on which hung perfectly skimming my hips but sadly i couldn't move in it!!! So i settled for this one which has stretch in Here it is with my denim shirt http://i594.photobucket.com/al.....rt/001.jpg

Phew it passed the YLF test! It clips slightly more around the hips than the other one did but hey at least i can move in this one!!!! And i rather like how curvey it makes my bottom look at the back I'm not used to so little volume in skirts x

Wow I can barely believe all the positive responses! A couple of years ago a figure hugging skirt like this would send me into a cold sweat! Another item to add to list of things i thought i could never wear x

After 14 YLF months I finally see what you guys see and i actually adore my teeny tiny waist and curvy hips and bottom. This pencil skirt marks an important milestone having spent 15? years attempting to hide everything from just under the bust to just below the knees!! Not an easy feat. So a big thank you Angie and YLF (who says i don't do mushy!!) x

My one and only black pencil skirt I bought from Target almost a year ago but since then I've learnt more about fit and cut of skirts, so I know I need to start looking for a replacement soon.
