I got another BF: Which to keep? ETA more pics

Just to complicate things, I tried another pair of boyfriend jeans when I went to Target the other day to make some returns. To be honest, my expectations weren't high, but I was pleasantly surprised by the soft denim and full backside coverage. My lifestyle isn't casual enough to warrant two pairs of BF jeans, so I'd like to return one pair. So, I've posted pics of the newest pair alongside pics of the pair I asked about a few days ago for comparison. What do you think ladies?

Option 1: GAP Sexy BF size 4
lighter wash, 100% cotton, comfy, must tuck or wear fluid tops so my underwear don't show when I sit down. I haven't tried to size up, but I will if they have them in-store tomorrow.

Option 2: Merona BF crop size 6
medium wash, 99% cotton & 1% spandex, comfy & soft, must belt due to gap at waist. FYI: I tried the size down and they were practically skin tight.

Thanks for helping me decide!

ETA: pics of GAP BFs in next size up. The exposed underwear problem is mostly solved but the crotch looks funny to me. Thoughts?

I like the Gap, but only because I think the lighter wash looks fresh and modern for Spring.

I want you to size up on the first pair and keep them. I know not everyone loves the baggy look but if you're going to do the BF thing I say embrace it!

Hmm, I'm going against the grain here to say that I think the distressing on the second pair is more flattering. I very much prefer the second, Target, pair.

I like the wash and fit on the first pair better. Might work in the size up belted as well.

Jewell, could you size up in either? It might be interesting to see what they look like looser and hanging a bit lower.

I'm going to GAP today to try the next size up. I'll bring a belt and my phone so I can take pictures.

Marmee, a size up in the Target pair would be way too big in the waist even with a belt. I have the hips of a size 6, but not the waist.

Liz A. The wrinkly look could be might fault. I didn't think to steam/press them before trying on. I think I'll try that this morning.

They all look good! (Lucky you!) My favorite is the last pair, as I like the baggier look personally. And they're super cute with the belt and the tee partly tucked.

I like the Merona's or the larger of the Gap pair! I remember fitting a stroller into a dressing room!

I am with Beth Ann, on all counts!! You are a brave woman, shopping with your kids. I remember those days...they were NOT my most fashionable. I certainly didn't hold a candle to you, in any of your BFs!! (If only the BF would babysit for a little while, eh?)

Ha ha, Suz! If either pair showed promise as a babysitter, they'd be keepers for sure! Shopping with the little ones is exhausting.

I exchanged the first pair of GAP jeans for the size I'm wearing in the fitting room photos. I still haven't decided which pair to keep, but at least I can try styling both options at home and see which are most versatile. I'd keep both if I thought I'd have enough opportunities to wear them, but I know I won't.

The sized up gap jeans look great!

I think the sized up bfs look great. Now I'm wondering what the next size up would have looked like, for even more sag, but not everyone is into that.

When I saw the first dressing room photo, I thought your daughter looked so patient, but she looks like she was ready to get out of the stroller in the last photo!
