I found my leggings - YouLookFab Forum

I bought and tried on an uncountable number of leggings over the course of the past year. I thought I would never find leggings that suit me. Most were too short, too tight in knee area, weird in the crotch area, or all of the above.

It was when I gave up that I found these Kut from the Kloth leggings. Since I have had such good luck with this brand, I decided to try the leggings on Cyber Monday.

The stock pictures DO NOT do these leggings justice. The fabric is comfortable against the skin and substantial (in a good way). The patterns are subtle and very pleasing to the eye. The length is perfect.

There is an elastic panel built into the waistband of the legging. I think it is supposed to be a comfort panel. This panel could bother some people, but I doubt I will give it a second thought. I might even come to love the panel.

I meant to keep one of the two, but I decided to keep both of them. My favorite is the blue/grey check.

Actually, it's not far off the mark, since Angie's a big supporter of this brand and often reminds us of the quality for price point.

Elle -- I found the two pair I bought to be true to size. They are long though, so check the length to make sure you are happy with them. Again, I am thrilled with the fit and quality. They are leggings, but there a slightly "loose" feel to them that make me feel they are "pants" too. (I could be fooling myself though).

Suz -- I did notice they were called "Angie." In fact, I had to check several times to remind myself I wan't on YLF. It was an omen.

While I am at it, I came late to this brand. I bought my first item in 2015 (probably a couple of years behind other forum members). But this brand is AMAZING. I was wearing the plaid ponte pants at work the other day and women asked my about them. They thought I was wearing a fine-grade wool!!! So the ponte pants below are definitely work pants.

That is another thing about these pants. They are defined as "ponte," but the fabric is really good. It doesn't have the appearance of other ponte fabrics I have seen. I don't know what I am trying to say here. I just feel they are the "dressiest" ponte I have come across.

I will be buying more in the future. My issue is that I already own black, grey, and brown plaid. I don't need duplicates at this point. So I am just watching to see if other colors come available.

I find leggings so difficult to fit! They are usually all off in the rise, too short in the leg, too thin, ride down, etc. I'm glad you found great ones.

I have those plaid skinny ponte pants and really like them. I think some others here (Una) have them as well. I think Una's are sized so that they fit more like relaxed skinnies, while mine are skinny-skinny, but I wear them with longer tops and jackets, and they are really comfy in cold weather. I love that they go with all my neutrals -- black, navy, grey, and even brown.

Janet -- I tried on and rejected countless leggings this year. I had given up on ever finding any when I happened upon these Kut from the Kloth. It was sheer luck.

Elle and BonnieG: I was re-reading Janet's comment above. I sized up on the leggings because I wanted a looser, more relaxed "skinny feel" to them. I achieved what I wanted. Some might consider them less of a legging fit based on some looseness in the thigh. I'm still happy with them though. They fill a wardrobe hole for me.
