It's spiffy. It's streamlined but not too minimalist. It's mod and casual but can go all sorts of places. It can be punked up, glammed up, romantic-ized. I love it and want to strive for this vibe in what I wear.

Mochi, I suspect we are something of aspirational style twins. I love this look. I have some versions of the components and will be copying it! Never quite thought to put it together this way, but I love it.

ETA: I even have (blue leather) fingerless driving gloves I picked up in Reykjavik. I wore them wandering around town there and I love them.

Love it! After Angie's post on hi-tops, I was trying some converse ones today (I've been wearing slip-on, ie. no laces, low converse for years now) and they were a little clown-like. But I think it's the white laces that triggers that association for me. Here she has a low-contrast lace and I think that might be key for me. Hmmm. Order the grey ones on sale and buy a black lace?

I love it! Pinned it! Would wear it in a second! Well...not the Cons, because my feet can't take it, but some kind of funky coloured shoes or booties. I know it wouldn't be the same, but it would be equally cool!

This is what I wrote under my pin:

I also love this look and am Pinning it and planning to copy it (as best I can with what I have). This is definitely one of my "ideal looks" too. Those Cons are super--I think they may be leather, And now I wish I'd bought the animal-print scarf I tried on at H&M.

You have excellent taste, Mochi! That IS a great, classic with a current twist, deceptively simple outfit.
I'd like to duplicate it, too, although I don't care for the LV scarf- too much logo for me.
I've been looking for the perfect navy blazer since last year. Trying to be patient, but it's frustrating!
The gloves are a nice touch, too.
I'm betting that the bag is Hermès- sigh!

Is it bad that I'm already lusting after the leather moto Chucks after having just got a pair of Ash Bowie sneakers? Ack! At least the Chucks are reasonably priced for leather shoes.

The leather chucks--want! However, I have some practical concerns (uh oh) which may not matter to others. They're not really pricy, but considering you're paying for leather, but getting a rubber sneaker sole with a limited lifespan, I wonder if I should just stick to canvas. For some reason I tend to trash my shoes....
