ETA by way of explanation — my current glass frames, a very thin and low profile titanium pair from Lindbergh, bit the dust when I lost them for about ten minutes in the street in NYC. I took this as a sign that it’s time for a new style altogether, so I started looking for new frames…
Found some very cool frames that are distinctive without being crazy — I’m surprised this style works as well on me as it does. The combination of the almost clear frame with the distinctive shape rides the balance of being unusual and yet not overpowering my face. Hubs loves them too! I realize they are a big departure from what I had, and they may not be everyone’s cuppa!
The second pair are a bit too dark and bold to be regular glasses, but they will be turned into sunglasses — the colors are fab, it’s called “ocean.” Not sure how well you can see in the photo but it’s a blend of blue, teal and a bit of brown and black.
