I found a shoe!

It was at the local running store, where they sell Danskos and other comfort shoes. It is comfortable, practical, stylish enough, and most of all it is available by my interview on Tuesday. Not something I'd buy normally, but I think it will go with skirts and dresses also.

Have not worn them yet. Did I make a mistake?

Well, I can't say that I love them.
But I know Danskos work well for your feet, and that's really important.
I'd like to see Rae's Borns on you, though. I think they'd look more fashionable, if they fit and are comfortable on you

I think the heel height on the Borns is too low for me. I will post an outfit with these. They are cuter on than they look online.

I think they are great for what you need, and I think the patent adds a bit of fashion without being distracting or looking too... well, fashion-y. It seems like you need to seem like a Serious and Important Legal Person for this interview, so I vote yay.

Not bad. They do look comfortable and I like the patent construct and more refined heel than your typical Dansko clog. Plus the strap looks thin which is nice. I assume you got the patent shoes?

Yes, the patent. They can be returned. They are more sensible than my usual style. but so is this job.

I always figure that, if my shoes aren't comfortable, my unhappiness shows on my face. So comfortable shoes equal a smiley face and that, I think, is a good thing in a job interview. Buy the Danskos!

While not in the league of Kate Spade pumps, these appeal to my practical nature. Why buy a pair of pumps if you can't wear them (for more than a couple of hours.) I think they look more stylish than a plain MJ and I like that they are patent. On an aside, did you try the Tsubo pumps? I thought you already had a pair of those and they work for your feet.

ETA: I totally agree with what Gaylene said!

I like them! To me, they seem in the same league with the patent heeled loafers: maybe not the ultimate power-suit shoe, but a very good option! The patent makes them dressy enough, and they will go with your pants suit and with skirts. More importantly, you'll be able to walk comfortably in them and keep your focus on things other than your feet!

I think they are perfectly suitable.And my interview shoes are mary janes too - pumps don't stay on my feet.

Another Yeah vote for these cute, shiny, and business professional shoe! Glad to hear they are comfy. My go to pumps are also Mary Janes cuz pumps don't stay on my feet when I walk at a normal pace. I don't want to have to stroll...

I think they are very appropriate for an interview and actually quite nice. They don't look frumpy and if they are comfortable thenits a great choice.

I'm intrigued... I will be looking to see them styled. They look like they could have potential, however I know I the super high vamp would hit the widest part of my foot and hurt like the dickens. You've tried these on though?

I hope they work for you, Una. I think they have potential. You know the brand, know that Danskos are comfortable for you, know you like Mary Janes (Malibrans). I was wondering about the Tsubos, too - they wouldn't work? Perhaps they are the wrong colour for the interview suit.

Comfort is key, especially in an interview. You want to be focused on the interview not your hurting feet!

these look fine from and interview point of view. Not your usual style, but who's interview suit is?

I really like these. The patent and the Mary Jane strap give them added interest. I think they would be versatile, comfortable, stylish shoes.
