Make sure it's not physical such as nutrition related - or related to something like thyroid disease. Even anemia or very low B12 can cause these kind of "anxiety" and "depressed with no real reason" symptoms. A good blood test to check for full thyroid panel, iron panel, B12 and other key things is what it took to find a few issues I had. Eat a clean, well balanced diet, get plenty of fresh air and exercise, get some tests done so you can choose how to proceed. Think about your diet and any medical issues you've had in the past and share this info. with your doctor. Keeping a log of symptoms, what you eat and how you feel can also help.
