I do not know what spurred this but lately all I want to wear is a white shirt. I brought all of mine to the front of the closet and it is like falling in love all over again.

Have you re-found an old favorite lately?

I'm currently hunting for white shirts to buy so I feel you.

Hmm... old favorite revisited lately has been my black and white leather sneakers. Something about black and white together in outfits with a third color makes it easy to transition seasons for me? Because it works with muted dark earthy tones as well as pastels and brights.

I adore white shirts and had a lovely collection until (sob) I had a washing disaster.

My favourite recent purchase is below. On the back there is row of covered buttons and the cuff detailing is pretty too.

Rabbit, I am wearing cobalt crops, white shirt and black cardigan today so I totally understand.

Jane, I would cry if I had a washer disaster with my white shirts. The back of the blouse sounds fun.

Good for you! You wear shirts so well, and you can't beat the fresh look of a white one.
I can't think of an example for me, but after Angie's post on spring neutral shoes, I'm looking forward to wearing my spring shoes again.

Just picked up a lovely white shirt at the beginning of the month. Have already worn it 3 times - once with a fuller floral skirt on black ground. Very Carolina Herrera.

I've rediscovered my love of turtlenecks and have been wearing the heck out of a black one and a navy one - cotton/cashmere blend. Perfect with over-long flowy trousers in an office that runs cold.

Just bought this one on Garnet Hill and I'm wearing the heck out of it.

And right now, I'm wearing a very old white linen camp shirt from J. Crew. So I guess we're in the same place!

I want to like white shirts, really I do, but I always feel like I'm wearing a big sheet. I enjoy them immensely on others.....

Just returned one that I really liked because it was out of my budget. It was by Theory, collarless and tailored and with elbow-length sleeves. A great find if your budget can afford it. I love the idea of white blouses and tees, but I somehow manage to permanently stain them within a few wears.

Yeah gradfashionista, that's my worry about spending a lot for white tops. It's slightly easier with heavier cotton or silk because you always have the option of bleach plus blueing or oxiclean to keep refreshing them, but I have some white sweaters that are just starting to go - very slight pilling shows up more with white it seems, and I wanted them to last longer.

I avoid white at all costs. It's not flattering. I wear soft white or winter white instead.

Oh, I love a good white shirt, and think it pops with slacks, denim and colored skinnies. I have a couple of classics, but they're almost too classic, and I would like to find one with good design, so I'm happy to see what's "popping" up here.

I've been wearing a muted taupe plaid shirt by Hinge, lately, and am now moving toward brighter colors with the warming weather.
