I mean, one that I'm going to make here...but seriously, there must be some mercury-in-retrograde type of thing going on here today? I feel I have to make a feeble attempt to balance things out.

So I'm just reporting that my Cole Haan rainboots--that were too tight in the calves and which I stupidly, er, carelessly, let go past the 30-day return period--actually fit me and I'm wearing them right now. They're slightly tight, but will stretch out and I think they'll work out for me. No pics because they're just black patent leather rainboots, you know?

Hubs did look at them and jokingly infer that I'm a Nazi. He is not the most fashion-savvy (or tactful, for that matter), and also has a weird sense of humor. Can't win 'em all.
