Does the navy one have sparkly threads?

I have to say, Ralph Lauren makes the best "inexpensive" ball gowns going.

That bright blue in the store was stunning, too.

All amazing choices. Looking forward to seeing you all done up. Please post.

Ready. Going with black off the shoulder.

How thrilling! Love seeing the ballroom -- I feel like I'm there!

Gorgeous choice. Thanks for sharing. You look perfect and the event looks amazing.

Ditto what everyone else said. You look amazing, what a ballroom, So glad you went.

You look beautiful, Anchie!

Oh! The venue looks beautiful! The dress looks fabulous! So good that you having a great time. (Great lipstick too!)

Vienna balls feel straight out of a fairy tale, and your outfit looks perfect for the situation. I hope you had a great time!

I had a great time. We had a table at excellent position for people watching too. I was slightly underdressed, but I still felt fine. Lots of real ball dresses, with crinolines, sequins and lace in every possible color imaginable. Lots of princess type dresses and elaborate hair styles. There were women in such a huge crinolines that required assistance going down the stairs. I was wandering about how they manage loo breaks There were also few incidents of women falling down after stepping on their own dress. Men on the other hand looked all the same - black tuxedos with white shirts and black bow ties. There were also some people who wore their national costumes - men in kilts, women in kimonos etc.. This was also allowed since this was UN ball.
Ball opened with the debutante dance which all wore a beautiful white dresses.

Well, what a nice break in the usual late-winter blues wardrobe postings! Thanks for sharing...a ball is so far removed from my real life. This was a treat. And YLF!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Darling pic.

Late to the ball but...

OOH LA LA you looked fantastic! And all on such short notice. Glad you had a great time and thanks for all the photos.

I really liked you in the dark navy dress as well, so if there's time to squeeze in one more event perhaps you can borrow that one too!

Thanks for sharing -- a nice change of pace from the bundled up winter wear I'm seeing in my mirror and around here.
