Should I go see "Where the Crawdads sing" on the big screen before I finish the book? Seems like the cinematography is worth it and I am afraid it will leave my small town before I finish reading

I have read the book and seen the movie. I enjoyed both - although the trial was more exciting in the book. Not sure what I would do (possibly neglect my housework and sleep for a couple of days to finish the book!)

I'd call the movie theater and find out how much longer the movie will be playing.

Hmmm, I read the book, and maybe it was me, but I didn’t find the end to be a surprise. So if your interested, go see the movie.
