I Did It! ... Short(er) Hair!

I did it.... FINALLY i did it!!!

I'd been trying to grow my hair longer for ages because I never could understand what to do with them. They are poker straight and super thin/fine with almost zero volume.... probably the most 'boring' thing about me.

And I finally gave in to what Maneera and my hubby had been trying to convince me for... to Chop Them Off!

Here's are a few (horrible quality) before & after pictures.... I'm really looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say

#1, 2 & 3 are all before pictures - I usually always tied my hair up in a messy bun.

#4, 5 & 6 is Now

Yay, it looks great! (Although, when you said short hair, I was expecting above the shoulders ... but I know that first time chopping it can be scary and everything feels short.)

Your hair looks beautiful! At that length it'll have more motion and bounce and feel much lighter.
I'm sure it will look lovely a bit shorter if you decide to do it, too. Sometimes when it feels like a big change it's less scary to do it gradually, though.

I've got poker straight hair and have been wanting to try curls for forever now...so asked my hair dresser to show me what waves would look like... and I must admit I do love it!
My hair definitely looks more healthy at this length and I guess I'm enjoying this a lot more than I did when it was longer.

I completely agree with you... my hair looks healthy with just one cut! And I guess in a few months I'll hopefully be brave enough to go shorter!
I had gotten so used to just throwing it up in a bun or a top knot... I think I got lazy too with my hair... it was so convenient to not have to do anything... but I'm definitely looking at experimenting with it now ☺
