I went to see this film yesterday, with trepidation, knowing that it had the potential to be heart breaking.
It was a very moving, relevant and without trying to be too preachy, important film. While set in Newcastle, England, the situations faced by the two main characters are relevant to many of our countries - I know these sorts of things happen here for sure. And a reminder how important it is to be kind.....
The film won the Palme D'Or at Cannes, and was at our Film Festival a couple of months back, but now on general release.
