I don't know if any of you will remember my new boots from these posts:

Ok, so I kept the black version. And I wore them yesterday and today, for some hours of walking and standing. Turns out, they look very cool, i like them with my wintery clothes and I don't feel so freakish in them anymore.
However, and it's a huge however, they are far from the level of comfiness I first attributed them.
First there is the very tight toe-box on my left boot, which probably happens because my left foot is wider, the boot needs some stretching and it's not the first time this has happened to me. I'm used to it, and I'll be able to fix it -I hope.
The second issue is weirder since I've never had this problem -and I've had many problems when it comes to shoes. It feels like the heel under the right boot is too long. I have actually measured them -height and length, also the platforms- and it looks like they are the same, but they do not feel the same. After a while it's like it pinches the underfoot area and it kind of hurts (my feet are very bony so there's no pillow of fat). I would assume my feet are the problem if I had had this issue before, but since it's my first time, I'm clueless. They are a bit more comfortable when I pop in half an insole, since the extra thickness reduces the height of the heel, but then the shoe feels even snugger.
Has this ever happened to you? Do you know a way to fix it?
