Viewing all these wonderful YLF get-together posts and being a part of one myself (albeit only briefly:-() makes me ask a question: how come we did not have one in Canada yet? I think it is long overdue now - what do you think?
I know Michelle, Mac and Celia all live in Toronto. I live 2h away. Anybody else out there - the more the merrier?
Let's set a day and make it happen, ladies - as Celia rightly mentioned "before snow comes".
So are there any takers for the month of November - before the Christmas rush?

I don't live nearby but I just wanted to say yay to a Toronto meet-up!! I've only been to one so far but had such a good time that I highly recommend it to all regions!!! I think I recall that Michelle and Mac met up once in the past???? Good luck!

ETA: Yes, Mac and I did meet up once before, but it was a dinner-date rather than a formal YLF convention. That said, i know first hand that mac is fabulous and will be a key addition to whatever Canuck gathering we plan.

I don't live in Canada, but Toronto is not too far from me. Unfortunately I can not make the drive this year due to the little ones. Hopefully soon though!

Hi ladies! I'm in Toronto! I'm sorry I haven't properly introduced myself in the forums, I'm just starting to post (but have been lurking for awhile). I'll do that soon....but in the meantime, I wanted to add my name to the list of Canadian YLFers! I believe Crystal is also in Toronto?

I would love to meet up sometime. Also, is anyone interested in doing the global clothing swap mentioned in a recent blog post? I am totally up for that! I emailed and let Angie know that I can host.

Kitty, how exciting - our Canadian community is growing! Does November 20th work for you?
I guess we can discuss and arrange a global swap during our meeting - it is easier than through the email.
I have PMd Mac and Crystal and hopefully I will get a response from them soon. Are there more of us?
If November 20th works for all of us then we can start working out the details. I don't know Toronto at all so I have to leave this to you ladies - where to meet, where to eat, where to shop...
Celia suggested to go to Bata shoe museum as well - seems like a great idea IMO. What do you think?

Really, Jonesy? I live just 1h from the Michigan border - Port Huron and we sometimes travel that way. How far from Port Huron do you live?

Sveta, I wondered if you were close when you mentioned going to the Nordstrom in the Detroit suburb (that's the one I go to when I can). I live about an hour and fifteen minutes west of that mall (not that I've timed it or anything!). Is there anyone else in this neck of the woods? I would love to do a YLF clothes swap! Or at the very least, maybe we can get together for the NAS next year!
