Hi All,
Our friends who came and stayed over Easter left this morning, so DH, DS and I went and enjoyed some retail therapy. Our friends have 3 boys under 5 so while we had a great time, our house is not usually that noisy or chaotic:)
So... I did some shopping and would appreicate your thoughts.
And aplogies for so many pics.
#1 - #4
Table Eight Light Grey Herringbone Jacket predominantly for work but I can see myself wearing this over jeans too.
#5, #6 & #7
Rivers 'Riversoft" Ankle Boots in Red. I bought these with the intention of wearing them mostly with my boot cut jeans not my skinnies.
#8, #9 & #10
Sandler Navy Shooties. Not exactly sure what I will wear these with but they took my fancy, and I had been keeping an eye out for navy shoes for winter. Do you think they could be worn with skinny jeans? I think they will work with skirts and dresses.
Please note I have just put the jacket and shoes on with what I was wearing today, no real attempt at styling has been made here
And the particularly fun bit was I thrifted all of these. All are brand new, never worn.
The jacket was originally $260.00 (tickets were still on) and I paid $15.00. The red boots and navy shooties again are both new and not worn were $7.00 each. DH has never gone thrift shopping with me before and was quite impressed:)
On the way home, DH complimented me and said he really liked the changes I had been making to my wardrobe, inparticular the colors I have been wearing. I told him it was all thanks to Angie and my YLF friends... so I am sending you all a very big hug and a thank you for your fabulous input into my wardrobe choices over the past year. If it wasn't for you I there are so many things I still would never have tried... you have added color to my life (in more ways than one).
Back to shopping How did I do? Are these all keepers?
Thanks so much for looking.
xxx Deborah
