I broke down and ordered some NAS stuff!

I wasn't PLANNING on getting anything at the NAS but last week I was stuck in a hotel room with time to kill and the internets just pulled me over to the NAS! What was I to do?

I haven't seen any of these items IRL so maybe someone who has can let me know if I made good choices:

1) I like this blouse because it looks like it will look good under jackets. I got the black but I considered all the other colors...all three will work in my wardrobe. http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/hi.....t&con

4) And finally the piece that has me most puzzled! I've been wanting an artsy, long topper forever and this looked interesting. However the OS fit has me worried. The real blouse color is lovely!
I haven't been able to make the collars like the Hinge jacket work, as for me it always falls somewhere weird related to my top collar. The tweed is great though and it sounds like this collar may work for you.

I so hear you on the OS thing. I've returned several items that swallowed me, but then found others where an XS or PP worked, and I'm glad I kept trying so could dabble in this silhouette. Hopefully yours will work out, but nothing ventured/ no gain, so I agree you have to try on IRL.

so I hope it works...One thing is that this topper was featured in the catalog...

Great choices. I'd be all over a pair of mixed media pants if I didn't already have black leather pants.
The blouse looks easy and versatile. A good basic piece to layer or wear on its own.

My grey topper arrived this afternoon...Sorry to say, it is going back..I was looking for something with an arty flare to wear as a completer piece...
I wear an 8-10, 5'9"...This little cutie looked like I had on a bathrobe that would double around me...I like oversized but this lacked the style...Material was lovely...Too bad the topper was not sized...

Oh darn it! That was what I was concerned about. I'm 5'6 and wear a size 4/6. I have a small frame so now I suspect that OS will not work for me. Well...I will see when mine arrives. Maybe we should both post pictures of our giant toppers!!!

Hey, don't let me discourage you...You know sometimes things look way better on one person than someone else...I hope this is the case as the idea is excellent and just what I wanted, it was the actual product that didn't quite do it for me...Sorry...
