You HAVE to watch all 5 seasons, Janet and Nancy. It's right up there with BSG and the Wire. The best TV shows ever made.

I love Matt, Tim, Coach and Mrs. Coach's characters in the show best - especially Matt. They made me want to keep on watching the show. But everyone was cast very well. Matt's Grandma, Buddy Garrity, Vince, Jason, Landry - all exceptional characters. An extremely compelling show and story line. I want to watch it all over again.

I've read the accolades for Friday Night Lights and will have to check it out. We discovered The Wire on demand after the show ended and have watched it through more than once. Now working our way through Breaking Bad marathons.

I can't believe Buddy Garrity is starting to grow on me this season.

Funny though, almost all the female characters except Tami annoy the heck out of me in the beginning. Becky, Lyla, Julie -- I'm looking at you. Tyra grew on me in season three though.

I wanted to throttle Julie many times so I get it. I didn't mind anyone else though, and loved Tami. But Matt, Tim and Coach made the series for me.

Pil, Breaking Bad is brilliant too.

I love Tim and Coach. Coach reminds me a bit of a friend of ours (my husband's best friend since childhood).

Breaking Bad is INTENSE and I love it! Bryan Cranston is so good. And I love Jesse Pinkman -- what a great character.

My next series on my to-watch list after I finish FNL is Boardwalk Empire. My husband has been getting into it, but I need to watch it from the beginning and catch up. A friend of mine was just on an episode a few weeks ago!

In some ways it's even better coming in late to a show, because you can rent out DVDs and totally indulge

I want to have a Breaking Bad marathon sometime during the bad weather this winter. I'd like to see The Wire too. I normally could not be less interested in football, but I will give the FNL show a try--I've heard uniformly how good it is.

Nancy, I couldn't care less about football either, and still don't care for it. But FNLs was unbeatable virtually.

Janet, Walt Whitman and Jesse Pinkman have SO much passionate chemistry.

Janet, what character was your friend on Boardwalk Empire? We watch that too : )

Breaking Bad is oddly mesmerizing. I don't find any of the characters sympathetic, except maybe Jesse. Oh, and Walt Jr., I love him.

pil, Jesse breaks my heart! I hope at the end it of all, he's the one who comes out of it ok.

Mike is another great character. Oh, and Saul is hilarious too.

My friend only had a couple of lines, I think, just a couple of weeks ago? I know he was a cop, and I think the scene involves a jail. I'm so excited for him -- he moved to NYC about 3 years ago to pursue the acting career he'd always wanted, and it's great to see him getting work that could lead to more significant roles!
