Hope everyone's doing great & looking forward for an awesome weekend...I know I am!
I took a break for a few days from the Seasons & Nature Challenge because I had this particular image I wanted to recreate with my outfit... one of a BEAUTIFUL moth and I wanted it to be Perfect!
I saw this a few days ago and there's something so striking about it, I knew this is what I wanted to pick for 'my choice' of the S&C challenge
For this look I've paired my navy printed Zara top with my M&S skater skirt. The collared top with the hair tied up mirrors the head of the moth and I tried to mimic the flare of the moth's bottom with the skater skirt.
To incorporate its black feet I choose my lace up caged sandals by New Look.... and now comes my FAVOURITE part - the EYES!... I used my Zara round glasses and stuck yellow paper inside to mimic the moth's eyes....so fun...I hope you all get a few laughs out of this one...hahaha!
My second favourite part about this look and one that took me quite sometime to do was the makeup. I scrummaged through my collection to find the perfect match for the deep navy colour of the moth. I've used Paese eyeshadows for the eyes here - a deep, dark navy on the lid and a beautiful deep mauve in the crease to complete the smoky eye look.
The most difficult part of this image to incorporate was the background, the grey/gold floor and so I used my Grey Croc Bucket Bag from River Island to bring that rugged feel to the whole look
Hope you all like this one as much as I did....was my most fun challenge day so far!
