I am loving the fall options coming out!

I was a little worried after NAS because I wasn't super-crazy about most of the styles (cascading cardigans are just not flattering on me), but I just did some major damage at Gap today (several pairs of their new pants and a great olive-green jacket), and I am just crazy about the new styles over at Talbots right now. Our sad little Old Orchard Talbots is FINALLY making the transition out of the dowdy preppy stuff and into the sleeker stuff in the lookbook. I will hitting that once their sales start.

Also, I tried on some boots at Clarks and loved them. I might have to go back and get them. (LOL, they are so new they aren't even on the website. But they are shin-high, two-inch heels, brown with a great black strap crossed over at the ankle. They have them in an ankle-bootie style but I liked the taller ones better.

I am heartened for the season now! Oh, if only I could convince my SYC-ing YLF shopping buddy to come and least shop vicariously through me...

I love that anorak from Gap! It's just a little over my budget, and I'm afraid it's not going to get marked down, since it's so fab! Boo Hoo...

I love all your goodies. That red stripe will look great with the green jacket. I love green & red together. I started to try on the pants with the stripe. Are they comfy? I am still on the look out for some ankle booties to wear with dresses please post them when they are online. I have some codes for BR & Gap if you still need any.

Jenava, I figured the 30% off and a $10 coupon I had were going to be as low as I could get on that jacket (not quite an anorak, that is a different one than what I got) before they were gone, so I went for it.

Renee, I tried on a size larger of the casual khakis, and they were very comfy. The ankle booties I found aren't for dresses/skirts, they are definitely an under-pants boot. But so cute!

Oh, Angie so sorry! You must have added them while I was on vacation; I didn't see them. I actually usually buy through eBates, and I forgot to go there too. I was too excited after trying some on at the store (in the wrong sizes) I lost my head and went straight to the Gap website.

Yay! I wish we could all be excited about every season! I've found that I end up focusing on a couple colors that are big and a couple styles that are big at a time, but it's hard to embrace all the new trends at once.

Also, I was glancing through some of the new AT Loft arrivals and there are several striped items that reminded me of the Gap shirt you posted, so if you haven't glanced at Loft's selection lately it might be worth taking a peek.
