I am in heaven!!!

After dreary months and weeks we got an unexpected surprise - a week of unusually warm weather. Today was probably a record +27C or above 80F!!! I’m in heaven! People wearing summer clothes!
Next week we will be back to low teens or even single digits temps but we will have this summer in April for two more days!
Hope you too, have a wonderful weather!

It is heavenly! The warmth feels so good. Everyone is in a good mood. We are about 2 hours north of Toronto.

Yes! I was in my grubbiest clothes ‘cause it was time to tackle the climbing roses! I wrecked a sweater last year, so oldest jeans and T, Bludstones, a thick field jacket, and gloves today.

It was in the 80s here too- and will stay warm this week. If pant, sleeve, and closed shoe season is completely over, I will not be sad!

Same here (in Michigan-so I guess we are close)! Not quite 80 yet but today and tomorrow and then back down. But it sure does feel nice to get outside without a coat!

Irina, isn't it spectacular ... we're having a bit of work done in the house so I spent yesterday coffe shop patio hopping to take advantage of the sun and free WiFi lol ... back to seasonal next week which still looks lovely to me ... but meanwhile I will enjoy these summery next few days!

And the burst of heat has my daffodils cracking open at a tremendous rate ... the first one to bloom always gets shared with my family group chat for it's hopeful symbolism (one little petal at the bottom still unfolding)!

Daffodils here are long finished, and the tulips are popping! But it’s so warm this week that the tulip bloom may not last as long as it normally does. I had to run the AC for a couple of hours yesterday because it reached 81 in the house — too warm!

I noticed our azaleas are starting to pop today. Another 80+ day today and tomorrow and then it will cool off to a bit more seasonal temps this weekend, which is fine with me. I bristle at the idea of running the AC in April.

I felt a bit cold in the morning and realized I forgot to turn the furnace back on!
Yesterday was a glorious day. We went to see Blue Jays game and the stadium’s roof was open, sunny, blue skies above! A perfect end to a perfect week!
