My guy isn't very good at looking at clothing on the hangar and determining if the garment will be flattering. He is just as likely to offer something to me that I *know* won't work for my figure or my coloring, as he is to instantly dismiss something on the hangar that ends up looking good once I try it on.

However, he is pretty good at judging whether a garment works for me once I have it on. And he is good at editing my accessory choices. For instance, if he thinks the necklace I just added to the ensemble takes it OTT, then I trust him to be right.
