I know boyfriend jeans aren't everyone's favorite, but I enjoyed these jeans - that Hubalicious brought home from the Gap for himself, but they didn't work out for him - over the summer, and wanted to try them with the booties from yesterday. I feel spunky, but maybe edgy in the sense that I might be OVER the edge - thoughts?

I think I would be happier if I didn't see the gap between the jeans and the booties.
They seem too long to either unroll completely or to have a nice neat little roll to wear them bf style. If you keep them for casual looks, I would shorten them. These aren't bad but are there maybe some other jeans that would fit your curves better?

sorry, I can't get behind these. Something about them seems off to me.
I know it's tempting to try, but It's not easy to make men's jeans work for us. I know over the summer I nabbed some jeans that my teenage son was tossing and cut them off into shorts,. They were fine to go hiking and wear around the house, but they just don't fit my feminine curves like a pair of "real' girls jeans would.

I like this in theory, but the legs are probably too wide to roll up like that. Something about the way they fit at the crotch is not the best, either. I know you aren't necessarily looking for the most flattering thing ever here, but rather something funky, but I don't think these do you justice.

I'm not loving this compared to other looks I've seen on you. It's making you look disproportionate and after seeing you in a pencil skirt, I know better!

I fit well into men's (or boy's) jeans because I have no hips and butt - they often fit better than women's.

Shu, this is a great picture of you! I love the blazer scarf combo, and I would like to see the jeans unrolled.

I know what you mean about trying to make use of something that is a wardrobe orphan for a family member. Wearing my daughter's orphans sounded like a good idea too, but it turns out they are not fitting quite right either. :/

Well, I don't know that I've seen your other looks, so I was simply impressed with this! Not OTT to me. I love your hair too, it frames your face beautifully, and the feminine ruffle jacket + scarf with the jeans and booties is an irresistible combo. Love the way you've got feminine elegance (with some oldfashioned ladylike vibes) mixing it with with the boyfriend look.

I love, love, love the top half of this outfit! So soft and pretty around your face. I think I'd prefer a darker wash bootcut jean, but that's just me. That scarf is fabulous!

I love this outfit ...the juxtaposition of masculine and feminine. I have some jeans that fit and flatter but I have my moods when I want to wear some baggier or slouchier jeans with a tight short jacket.

Could you possibly have them hemmed so the roll at the bottom isn't so thick and wide? It might work better if the fold is a bit thinner (if that makes sense).

Very cute, but I think it would look even better with some different shoes/boots and a smaller cuff.

Is what I had in the back of my brain when I got dressed, I tracked it down. I like the look, but my jeans could definitely be more flattering - and I discovered a top half of an outfit that I really like!

I also like this in theory (and the top half is super cute!), but I think those jeans aren't quite right unfortunately. Looking at your inspiration photo, her jeans look more like "boyfriend style" jeans made for women rather than actual men's jeans; just look at how short that rise is! In general the women's cuts are more flattering, especially when there are curves involved I think you could get a similar effect with looser fitting straight legs, but if you wanted to roll these up maybe try pegging them so the opening is slim?

I like this outfit. I think you achieved a nice funky look. You look warm and cozy and all of the pieces are interesting together. I like your version much better than the inspiration photo.
