Hugely OT! Fellow 'Lost' Fans....

I wasn't hugely into the show until about the 3rd season but now I am very into it. I feel like there were some other pretty big fans on this forum. Will you be watching tomorrow night? I'm very interested to see what unfolds in this final season. I'd like to know what the deal is with Jacob for starters. Is he good or evil? And so many other questions I am looking forward to getting answered - finally!! Yippee!

I'll be watching for sure!

OMG I cannot wait!
We don't have TV, so we have to wait until Wednesday night to watch it on the website. We just finished re-watching the whole series about a month ago.

My questions:
1. Who/ what is Jacob and what is his deal?
2. Of course the smoke monster - who what when where etc
3. Locke. what in the world was that about when they found him in the box? Who is Locke?
4. Claire's baby - blanking on his name right now. but what is the importance of that baby?

Soooo many questions. And to think, they will all be answered. Then again, they might get dirty and leave us hanging to 'figure things out for ourselves' at the end.

Claire's baby is Aaron. I was surprised how easily Kate gave him up and went back to the island.
I really want more of the backstory/information about Richard

My kids are giving me grief- they want to watch Lost and I want to watch Biggest Loser. I actually want to keep up with both. I almost feel that I have to rewatch to get myself all caught up again. And, I did have some things figured out last season but can't for the life of me remember what conclusions I had come to, other than the fact that John Lock is symbolic of Jesus (IMO) and isn't Jacob the smoke monster, or was it the other guy that he was sitting on the beach with? it's almost enough to make your head hurt thinking about...

I am so excited for Lost tomorrow! I'm torn--I can't wait to see how everything works together at the end of the show, but I don't want the show to end! Queenie, I'm a huge BL fan, but if I were your kids I would be giving you grief too. I think Lost is a show that needs 100% attention because so much happens and there are so many small clues. The Fine Living Network (FLN) reruns Biggest Loser a few times throughout the week--maybe you can catch it on that station? (I am so glad I have a DVR!)

I'm sooooo excited! I don't go gaga over TV shows or movies in general, but THIS show has me captivated like none other.
It's something Bryan and I do together too, so that's a plus.
Queenie, before the actual season premiere, there will be an hour of "previously on Lost...". That should help refresh you.
We also watch the Biggest Loser, but LOST wins over any other show. We do have a DVR though, so can catch both.

yes, I know I can watch online, but Taco Tuesday (as we call it here) has become synonymous with Biggest Loser. My taco just won't taste the same watching LOST. I do think I'll cave to the boys though, my interest is piqued and I'll catch BL later...

I'm a *huge* fan but Aussie tv seems to have a deal where they won't show any freshly-aired US shows until a minimum of one week later And then they have the nerve to say that they're 'fast-tracking' it. I may be acquiring a viewing through other methods, if I'm lucky, but if not I'll be a week behind the rest of you here.

I highly recommend watching the little Lost Untangle shorts on abc.com. They are very helpful! Basicly, we are seeing two storyline- one where they are still (or in some cases back) on the island, and a second reality where the plane landed in LA. It's sort of like string theory. That's why there are differences in that storyline- like Jack's son.

Huge Lost fan here!
London kiwi - the story line where the plane landed in LA is kind of an alternate universe where the island never existed (or at some point disappeared/sunk to the bottom of the ocean - hence the underwater shot of the island at the very beginning of season 3). That's why the background stories of all the characters have changed somewhat - for example Jack now has a kid, as Chewy said, or Hurley is actually lucky and Jane might have been innocent.

Is this going to be the end of the series forever or something?
I really got into the show for a couple of seasons and then it started dragging and we quit watching. I'd love to get back into it again but it's been so long. I didn't even know it was still on.
