Thank you all! This has been incredibly helpful. I haven't shopped much this year at all, and my decision-making skills are a bit rusty.
I placed my order. Here are my final decisions:
- The Eyelet and Daytripper Dresses: these two full-price dresses excite me, and if they work in terms of fit/fabric, they will be worth well more than their very reasonable price point.
- The hoodie and the sports bra: I have an easy-to-fit torso and the positive reviews have me feeling fairly confident that these will work for me (and honestly, for such a deep discount, I'm willing to take the risk and resell on Poshmark or eBay if they don't).
- The Breton top: irresistible colours, and I am in fact down to just one (!) breton top at the moment, having culled two in the past year.
I will hold off on the linen pieces for now, as I have quite a lot of linen as it is. I have some other linen coord possibilities already on my wishlist as well, and would rather purchase my linen from smaller artisan brands if possible.
Looking away from the final sale dresses, as there are too many fit factors that could go wrong.
Going to skip the satin pants, because I know from past experience that I have a hard time feeling dressy in pull-on pants.
I may go back later to order the light wash jeans, and also try the recently restocked Mariner Jeans. If I end up returning anything from the first order, I'll request store credit and use it to try the jeans, assuming they're still available in my size.
I will report back next week with try-ons!
