Marley, Nico, Kira, Phoebe, Rae, Rae's beautiful friend Stella, my buddies Isabel and Amanda and I came, we swapped, we ate and drank, and had the best, best time ever!! Ever, ever!!

OMG, infinite thanks to MaryK for having us over. I feel like I just went on a major shopping spree -- and to think I even found items that had been on my wish list: white pearl necklaces, party shoes, business suit, TEAL! I am so giddy; I want to wear it all right now. Everyone had such great taste that it was almost like a secondhand boutique. Squee!

Thank you so much for having us over MaryK! It was fantastic. I wasn't expecting to come home with so many fashionable finds. It was a really fun and friendly atmosphere--everybody helped each other out and gave such wonderful compliments. At the end of the day, we had a "show-and-tell" where everybody shared what they picked and it was such a great moment, proving how successful this party really was! Looking forward to the next swap party! Thanks again to everyone

I'm still on a HIGH! I just got finished trying on all of my loot again - and boy, did I EVER score! But, more importantly - I met some really FAB women, and had soooo much fun! It was amazing that every single one of us felt like we came away with at least one item that was just PERfect! I loved seeing the others try on some of the stuff that I brought and realizing that it was just meant to be for them - and I felt such contentment knowing that it was going to someone who loved it and who could wear it with such savvy!
A HUGE thank you to MaryK for hosting. You were the best! Can't wait for the next one - and we've got to get Tarzy and Kris and Legacy of Pearl and all the other women in our area to come to the next one! Woo-hoo!

Yes, Kira brought the top and told me I had to try it on, and the rest was history! I think it's going to be amazing for work with a skirt and jacket!

I had the most amazing time at the swap meet. Everyone was helpful, kind, and so lovely! I'm thrilled I got to meet everyone there. I have some beautiful new pieces in my wardrobe now, (one of which I never would have tried on if it weren't for your encouragement) and MaryK's elegant house was the perfect setting for the party. It really had a fun party vibe, and I hope the CA swap meet becomes a tradition. Thank you so much for a great experience!

Hey Girls - that red dress has me soooo excited! Kira brought it and it is even more gorgeous IRL! Actually, IRL it is floor length - I had just tucked the bottom of it up to see what it would look like shortened. I will post some pics - both floor length and tucked up - and see what everyone thinks about if I should shorten it or not. I'm thrilled - 'cuz I have never had a red dress before! I've been going around humming "The Lady in Red" - can't think of who recorded it, but it is sweet and romantic and makes me happy. (Just like the dress!)

Btw, what's this style called (top of the dress)? I know it as Nehru collar, but I am not sure whether US and UK terms are different.

Chris de Burgh! When DH and I got married we made a music CD for party favors, and that song was one of the selections! LOL

I'm so envious of the photo of MaryK outside in a sleeveless top! Good grief. At around swap time on Saturday, we were outside banging on a frozen garage door, trying to crack some ice so it would open...
