How would you style these boots?

I am intrigued by these boots and cannot get them out of my mind but am not sure they go with my style. But, I feel my style is changing somewhat and think they could add an interesting twist. I am not sure how I would style them. Would you wear them with rolled skinnies? skirts? or what?

They look like logging boots to me, very utilitarian. I honestly I can only imagine them with Carhartts.

I would wear them casually, with skinny or slim leg jeans, black, blue or grey. A simple sweater, cardigan, maybe a parka. I would steer the other pieces to sleek/simple rather than too utilitarian. I would avoid wearing with plaid.

I like them if you do a lot of city walking.

I would repeat the colors of the boots in your outfits. I'm thinking English country with wool, tweeds and leather, maybe a cape or poncho or a hand-knit Irish-looking sweater.

I would wear these the same way I do my Sorels. They are really cool. But I'm not sure your climate calls for the winter dressing they invoke.

I agree about slim casual pants and a sweater that work with the color you choose. Sorels are pretty warm so they would be for cool/cold weather.f

I like them personally but rugged looking booties is one of the few items that I gravitate towards that aren't on the classic end of the spectrum.

Those are really cool! Agree with the styling ideas offered up here - and I'd just make sure that you don't go too nuts on plaids and tweeds to avoid veering into costume territory. But these look perfect for weekend wear - probably waterproof and warm too.

The low contrast version in cognac seems easier to match up with cropped pants or pants rolled at the hems.

The mixed media could be fab, or could be "precipitationally confused", for me. I might tend to think of them as leather weather-resistant footwear but they would not be good in rain or splashes.

Nice boots! I can see why they stuck in your mind. I like both the mixed media ones and the cognac ones Angie suggested.

I'd happily wear either version with my slim, dark-wash jeans, a polo neck sweater, and my cognac leather jacket or my olive-brown J Crew field jacket. I'd also wear them with a chunky pullover and my tweedy track pants or my leather/ponte slim pants.

Since the boots have a canvas lining instead of the traditional Sorel one, I don't think they'd be too warm. I'd use a waterproof spray on the boots to make them water resistant enough to wear in light showers.

I'm being a total enabler here, but I adore boots--they are hands down my favourite footwear!

After reading Angies' comment maybe the blue would be easier to work into my wardrobe. The cognac version would be more difficult for me because it is not one of my favorite colors. I do not know though. I really, really like the black and tan. I might just order both and see which works best with my wardrobe.

My first thought is hiking in the woods. These are hard to see for non-utilitarian purposes. Maybe heavy yardwork. I just cannout seem to envision these as "walking around" footwear.

Have you noticed the combat boot with delicate things look over the years? It comes around often.
These Sorels would rock that!

I have a terminal allergy to western boots/cowboy boots, but your boots would perform wonderfully in any place that the western/ foresty/military look could sneak in.

I really like the nutmeg boot. And I need to replace a brown pair next year. I hope they will make it through this year. Hmmmm.... (Evil scheming)

Iirc, Sorels are durable and comfortable.

ETA: to avoid the utilitarian look, mix it up. Steal from steampunk and throw knitted or lace socks with them (even just the cuffs). Wear deliciously smooth trousers and maybe texture on top.

I wouldn't wear them with jeans tucked it, they're a bit too loud. Maybe with a simple gray/ khaki/ black/ any other natural color tee and a bomber jacket or a denim vest/ jacket or a khaki army jacket/ parka?
