how would you style these

always trying

Am contemplating ordering these wide trousers. have been on polyvore searching the wide leg trousers, finding some in e-stores and b and m stores, but not seeing them on this board yet, and only a very few wearing them, but I am seriously thinking of trying them. photo 1 is the colors and pattern I think I want. Photo 2 is the only one I found styled with a blazer-and that is something I would want to try, But the photo 2 is not a color I would want.

Gorgeous ! You so need to get them. I can easily see them styled with blazers or when cold with chunky knitwear. Wish my store had them!

I would wear them with a drapey sleevelss top or with my sleevelss tux-style jacket. I can't picture them with blazers really. But I have only worn palazzo-style pants in summer, I think I need the bare arms to counteract the volume below.

Add a cheerful flowery blouse for the summer and a cable knit sweater for the winter. Also try a chunky ankle boot with those pants.

I'm particularly fond of the scarf-print versions of these pants. I'd pair with a plain silky top + fluid blazer + pointy flats, or a breezy sleeveless tank + gladiator sandals.

Great pants! The print is so gorgeous and interesting. I like the look of #2 for styling. You could even go with a dressier solid silk collared blouse, for a more businesslike look. How about a flowy top and a short jacket like a bomber or moto style, with heeled booties? Or a sheer knit sweater and cami, with sandals.

I've been wearing a lot of palazzo pants in summer here. I tend to wear them to casual events, like movies or coffee or meeting friends / shopping etc. My preferred style of wearing them is with a drapey top (either sleeveless or very short sleeves) that I tuck in and then pull a bit out to create a drape on top of the elastic. Kind of like a loose tuck. I tend to prefer wearing feminine drapey tops with lace or sheer inserts around the shoulders or neckline and generally a solid color as all my palazzos are printed. For shoes I prefer wedges with these with at least 2 inch heels. There is a bit of volume on volume play in how I style them. Kind of like the attached pic, though my pallazos are not so voluminous!

Lovely pattern! I hope you try them.

I'm not much help with styling, but I would suggest you go to Anthropologie's site and check there—they've had quite a few pairs of wide-leg pants like this for sale.

Palazzo pants are back? I made some for myself in 1996. I doubt I still have them, but I remember they were white, teal and deep red, lol! Back then, I just tucked in a nice fairly close fitting T-shirt and called it good.
