How to wear this voluminous top? ETA more photos

I have this orange silk top that is really difficult to style. It is very loose and oversized, and I kind of feel like a walrus wearing it. But it's a nice color and fabric, and I'd like to think of some way to wear it that doesn't make it look like maternity gear -- difficult on me, I know!

I have just thrown it on with some jeans in these photos. Please ignore my partially-dried hair and too-big jeans. I can add some snaps of the things I have tried with this so far.

ETA: Here are the things that I have tried with it so far. Lately I have been feeling hideously ugly no matter what I wear, so that's not helping my judgement much.

I have a couple of blouses like this and the only way I have found to make them work is with a topper. Do you have a structured jacket to put over it? I think it needs a couple of fitted pieces to give it shape. A jacket and pencil skirt or slim leg jeans or fitted clam diggers.

I love the colour on you and I think it looks really nice under the grey knit jacket with the striped turn-up cuffs, and also under the white jacket. It looks so spring-like in these pics. I agree with Traci that a slim bottom - skirt, pants, or capris - will compliment the look.

10 and 13 are my favorites here. I like the way the neckline in 10 plays with the bow on top of it. 13 fits nicely in the shoulders and shows your shape better than the other jackets, to me.

I have a hard time tucking these voluminous tops because I don't know what to do with the billow.

Do you have any vests? or a cropped jacket?

The most cropped jacket I have is the black cotton biker style (number 5). I don't like cropped jackets because they emphasize how my belly sticks out and make me look even more pregnant. And sadly no waistcoat, although I'll keep my eye out for one when I'm shopping.

I like 10 and 13 too, with 10 being my favorite. Have you tried to belt it directly under your bust? A croped or tied under your bust cardigan would also be cute. I love that color on you!

The color of that top looks beautiful either your skin and I am sure the other ladies recommendations are spot on.

I like it best untucked, without any toppers, with the bow tied, for sure. It does look a bit big on you, though.

I believe the top is a little big for you, though. #1is an option if you pair it with slim bottoms as Traci suggested. #10 works because we can see your cute shape!

I like it tucked, as in #7, and with the grey cardi in #10. In both of these there is something (the tuck or the fitted cardi) reining in some of the volume and showing your shape. With tops like this, I do like to wear a fitted blazer over as well, but I think most of the jacket options you've shown here are a little too loose for the top. Maybe buttoning the blazer in #4 up to show more of an hourglass shape would work.

I like it untucked with jeans, but it would be great tucked into a pencil skirt (thought I'm not sure your lifestyle calls for one of those). I think the belt and jacket pairings look nice too. Lovely color and the fabric looks luscious!

I like it alone the best! It is getting too big for you but a pretty shape and color. I have a similar though non bow style blouse and I pair with slim crop pants and sandals for summer. I also like the white jacket with blouse and shape in general. Your more structured jackets will help define your shape over the looseness of the top.

We all have those "nothing to wear" moments for whatever reason (I could give you 10 right now....) so hang in there and keep working it

I think the top looks grest on its own but as previously suggested with slim leg pants, skinnies or a pencil skirt with nude heels. As there is so much interest with the tie at the neck it looks better without any necklaces. I think the topper in 10 looks the best as it skims your shape and is in the same autumn colour tones as the blouse plus it highlights the tops tie neck.

I like it with the cord tied around the waist! I agree that I would like to see some fullbody shots, as I think balancing proportions is key with this top.

Really pretty color! I like #10 and #13 the best because it adds a little shaping. Any jacket with a nipped in waist would be great with it.

I'm loving #1 and #10 best, for showing off the top as well as your figure. I also quite like #2 --- a more structured jacket, a nice contrast of colour. And by the way, you look FABULOUS in that blouse colour!

What I'm not fond of is the belted one, because it fights with the vertical flowing lines of the top. It has just enough horizontal interest in the design from the neckline and sleeve detailing, but adding more is overpowering it, I think.

I agree that this is maybe too big - with something this voluminous the shoulders have to be fitted perfectly otherwise it's just too overwhelming, and it looks like the shoulders are a tad too wide on you. In the past I've had tops like this and I have mostly given up on them. On a larger figure it's just hard to make this look work, or at least it is for me. Everyone says to belt loose tops but I find it just emphasizes the issue rather than solving it.
The color is great tho, and I do like it with the gray (taupe?) sweater over it reducing the volume.

You could try wearing it with skinny jeans or slimmer bottoms. And a black cardi if you wish to cut out the volume on sides.
